Formals & Gala Balls

The Clarion has long been famous for hosting fantastic Formal Events in our sumptuous Causeway Suite.

The Causeway Suite can cater for up to 300 guests, it is beautifully decorated and boasts a large bar inside the room, and private cloakroom area.
The adjacent Glendun Suite is ideal for Drinks Receptions on arrival, and also has bar facilities within it. The Events Team at the Clarion are experienced in assisting with the organisation of all types of Formal Occasions and you can be assured of the best attention and advice at all times during the planning process. 

Formal Packages for Charities and Fundraisers are available from only £25 p/p including room hire, meals and welcome drinks on arrival. This makes the potential of raising funds much more realistic! Preferential rates for attendees to stay at the Hotel are also available, and a complimenary room provided for the organiser of larger events.  

School Formals are most often accommodated in our Castleview Suite, which again benefits from its own bar facilities, private cloakrooms and a seperate entrance from the rest of the Hotel. This room has a fixed stage area and a large dancefloor, ideal for partying the night away in style! Decorations can be arranged to suit your colour scheme or theme, and a DJ is included in the package to play for both your Formal and After-Formal parties.
