The Weekly Carvery at the Clarion Hotel has become not only a local institution but famous across the province. The selection of mouthwatering dishes suits all tastes, with a variety of Hot and Cold Starters, Soups, the very best cuts of well cooked Meat, and a true feast of fabulous desserts.
The added attractions of an ice cream machine and a face painter for the children makes the Carvery a superb family outing.

We would encourage our customers to book and pay in advance for the Carvery, and indeed offer a reduction on the already very competitive price for doing so.
The price is £13.95 per adult and £5.95 per child if you book and pay in advance, or £15.95 for adults and £5.95 for children if you pay on the day.

Special Occasions

Christening & Communion Parties:
A Private room which is adjacent to the Main Ballroom where the Carvery is served can be booked for Private Parties of 25 or more, with no extra charge! This is ideal for any Family Celebration, giving additional privacy and flexibility and the potential to arrange additional decorations or entertainment if you wish.

Christmas Day:
Christmas Day Carvery ran in 2010 for the first time, and was so popular that some guests booked for 2011 as they were leaving! With beautiful decorations, fantastic food and service, and a truly festive atmosphere, many are set to return year after year.
Bookings are being taken for 2011 NOW and accommodation packages are also available - so if you want to enjoy all the good bits of Christmas, without the washing up and the shopping, contact Hotel Reception to reserve your place!

Boxing Day:
The ever popular Boxing Day Carvery at the Clarion is now an institution, with guests returning year after year. For 2011, the price remains at £25 (Adult) and £10 (Child)
